one of those labels i want to like more than i actually do, although "disco mantras" is a really good comp. it's slightly weirder and jazzier, which seems like a horrible combination but actually works here.

ya I second this. it's usually kinda stuck between the filmy gauze + the knocking for me, and accomplishes neither. you would think it's impossible to overdo woozy, but no.

also the vibe can get a bit uncomfortably post-vaporwave etc for me (see also: DJ Seinfeld + that), for others ymmv ofc

I do bet it's awesome live with the right drugs, crowd, etc
