Finished this last week, and I think its fair to say that there was no snobbishness and certainly nothing left out.
Having read a ton of books about music since the last Reynolds it was a slight surprise to come back and see just how good he is at this, tying up a quite complex web of references and themes in a very, organic, natural way.
Matt woebot did a good radio thingy about it, worth a listen.
