Many think he's a Berliner...but he's a Bristolian!

Kamikaze Space Programme is a true sonic renegade, a genuine musical experimenter. Somewhere between a classic Musique Concrète and modern electronic approach, KSP’s music is made up of myriad samples, found sounds and white noise from real world situations, it lends the stuff a very real texture and aesthetic that links it to the here and now, the everyday, in a very real way. The sound of an old truck, the hiss of a kettle or the clunking of a door are all fair game for KSP, who then takes his strange sound sources and weaves them into infectious sonic tapestries and intricate rhythms.

It all started for Chris Jarman in the mid-90s when he worked as an accomplished session musician. He first dipped his toe into the electronic world as a D&B producer at the turn of the century and was quickly signed to revered label Renegade Hardware and soon began playing around the world. Never one to sit still, Jarman wanted to foment an even more original sound and thus the Kamikaze Space Programme project was born.

It’s a project with its own sonic identity that has been snapped up by the press and public alike, with many festival appearances taking him across the globe and music being released on labels such as Luke Slater's legendary Mote Evolver, Tresor, KilleKill, TRUST & and has been commissioned to remix artists Labels such as Planetary Assault Systems, Emika, He/aT, Monic and The Exaltics, always adding his own idiosyncratic take on things.

- DJ Guy (All Caps)
https://soundcloud.com/guy_evans

We're super excited to invite the legendary DJ Guy to the cells - a man of mystery, with undisputed quality and foresight both in production style and taste in wax. DJ Guy has been a constant in a sea of musical variables over the last 20 years. His material on All Caps, NORD (rip), Cejero and a saucy number on Organic Analogue recordings, containing yet more lost tape reels from the 90s, are outstanding. Even more exciting (if thats possible) is DJ Guy's most recent project - a new album forthcoming on Hypercolour which is sure to tantalise our musical tastebuds when it drops in the coming months. Stay tuned for more exciting updates to come!

- Batu (Timedance)
https://soundcloud.com/batuuk

Timedance head honcho Batu is no stranger to the murky depths of the prison cells...his raw yet intricate UK-influenced production style and unrelenting power behind the wheels complements the concrete cavern like a fine wine to cheese. His releases span the livity sound imprint "Dnuos Ytivil", Pinch's very own "Cold Recordings" and a recent RSD addition to the fresh collaborative label "Fringe White" with pal Lurka. Expect a tastefully curated set list, punctuated with an unreleased dub or two from either the man himself or whatever spicy heat the "Cottage of Dance" has to offer.

- Rommek (Blueprint/Loose Lips)
https://soundcloud.com/rommek

As a recent emerging artist, Rommek has shown promising developments in his own sound, as well as carving his way into the current techno scene. His extensive interest in sound design is embedded within the atmospheric, dark and textured tracks he produces. His debut, 'Thought Patterns EP' on the London based label Weekend Circuit, established his position on the map. Since then, various releases and Dj sets have proven his wide appeal through the combination of the energetic, gritty UK sound combined with deep and transcendental aspects. In 2016 Rommek joined the iconic Blueprint Records, with his ‘Moth Hole’ EP and also contributed to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation. Through these releases he has gained support from the likes of Rodhad, Ben Sims, Inigo Kennedy, Shifted, Luke Slater, The Black Dog and many more.

- William (NOODS/Loose Lips)
https://soundcloud.com/william_was_taken

Will Butterworth, aka 'William' has been developing rapidly over the last few years, and has become a wicked part of our parties in Bristol. Expect some deep and varied selections from his ever-growing bucket of wax.
