MIGOS feat. Lil Uzi Vert - Big Bad and Boujee

Came out in 2016, but shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2017. Like 'Black Beatles' was arguably memed to the top. I like the song, would never have predicted it would be number 1 song in the US though!

Kind of ties in with The Song Machine, actually - the conformism of taste, the desire people have to be listening to what everyone else is listening to. Without the memes, there's surely no way it would have made the number 1 spot.

i like the trina song, beat is a bit like UGK's international players anthem (or something else i cant quite place, a jay-z/kanye track), but the lyrics dont really fit the beat.
