Default [10/03/17] Loose Lips w/ EOD, Georg Bigalke, DJ Boycey & Danbe @ Bar 512, London

10th March commemorates the 1959 Tibetan uprising against the People's Republic of China. Its failure lead to brutal crackdowns but their courage is still celebrated each year. With our next London party coming on this date, we will rave to wonderful acid, IDM, electro and techno to acknowledge our freedom and to immortalize their efforts!

    Line-up:

    - EOD (bbbbbb/Rephlex/WéMè) (NOR)

    https://soundcloud.com/eod-6

The Norwegian protégé of Rephlex Records whose music we are now eternally obsessed with. We look forward to his unique blend of off-kilter pitched down lounge music, IDM, acid house, braindance and breakbeat.

    - Georg Bigalke (45 Minutes of Techno/Distillery) (DE) - UK Debut
    https://soundcloud.com/georg-bigalke

Georg Bigalke is the man behind the ’45 Minutes of Techno’ series which compiles the sounds of international techno greats and local favourites on one platform - everybody gets 3/4 h. He is a major part of Leipzig’s Distillery collective/club, who invited our very own residents, Rommek & Medallion Man, over in October last year. He's been involved in our label, mix series and radio shows previously so make sure to check these links below to whet your appetite!

    - DJ Boycey (Pie Factory Records/Dilettantism/Botox)
    https://www.mixcloud.com/dj_boycey/

After discovering the raves at Tyssen St, The Drome and around Hackney Wick around the end of the 90s Boycey found himself dragging speakers, amps and records around many of London’s squatted social centres as well as beaches on the south of Italy, fields around Brighton, Hackney Marshes and Thames beach playing with Unsound, Redeye and Flipside sound systems amongst others. Currently playing a mash up of sounds that combines hard techno, a multitude of breakbeat driven sounds, electro, and 80s era Kate Bush while spinning records as resident at Don’t Look Now and creating a technoid clusterfuck of gunshot samples and kick drums as one half of Dilettantism and fusing donks, wubs, and clangs as one half of barely known, rarely seen live techno outfit BOTOX.

Check out his recent guest appearance on our Loose Lips radio show here.

    - Danbe (Loose Lips/Vivify)
    https://soundcloud.com/dan623

Dan holds down the residential duties for this event. He plays records with a special affection. Throughout his teenage years, he constantly immersed himself in electronic sounds, resulting in a rich taste.

In Devon, he grew up as a major part of GroundVibes collective and held a residency with Vivify, regularly playing alongside the likes of Phil Weeks, Medlar, Fabio Monesi, Billy Nasty and Subb-an.

    no.
