    it's solid pop music this stuff but rarely if ever essential.

    smoothness, sweetness, lightness have always been a big part of west african music i guess. bit like brazil in that respect.

    And one of the most essential afrobeat tunes (to my ears) ever is sweetness and light although it does have the boomboom bassline

    that dancehall blend in Sekkle Down is great. The production is really good on this.

    ive been getting so much sun recently that west african pop is finally sounding great
    (not from 2018)
