Default The uncoolest, low-brow cheap thrill

fell into a rabbit hole this afternoon. no redeeming value whatsoever and anyone with a modicum of taste and intellect dismissed this shallow trend 10 years ago. i've always had a soft spot for the time and energy people spent identifying absurdest combinations and, for the best ones, seamlessly bringing their frankenstein creations to life. and some of the video editing is just as cleverly done as the music.

Cliff def could've gotten down with some sexy jams, tho (as always) he would've been let down by Lars

the world needs more (some? are there any? there must be) slow metal loverman jams

literally any rap sounds good over Back In Black (let alone Biggie)

I remember an interview w/El-P where he mentioned bringing a cassette w/loop of the 1st 8 bars of Back In Black to middle school for him + other kids to battle rap over

but i know it will be populated by students who will suck the life out of it.

Flashbacking to 2manyDJs sets at Glastonbury

I know what you mean, it can work very well even though in a very real sense it is the lowest of the low
