no, I invented this group in my head. they are the uk jamaican version of Borbetomagus. borbegomitus. like Subhead in the 80s. really heavy ragga basslines married to painful guitar noise.
Now is the time in the thread where we daydream abt Subhead in the 80s:

*Phil and Jason each have 2 Yamaha DX100s and theyre playing weird noises*

*Maybe theres a TR 909*

*Jamie is going MOONSK MOONSK MOONSK MOONSK or whatever on the mic in real time bc a sampler costs $30000.00*

*Everybody has nice haircuts and is dressed fashionably like Sigue Sigue Sputnik*

Wow i wish Subhead in the 80s was real :3

I'm dumb - I can't figure out how to quote.
Anyway, someone on the first page mentioned Igor Wakhevitch so also I'll mention this although I'm not sure if this was the unnamed album being talked about:

I've been getting into Grim lately (old school Japanese industrial/noise/p.e.) and it seems like some of his stuff would kind of fit like maybe:
He also does stuff that's just more weird and kind of psychedlic, but not really hard and machine like:
