    twyman's dedication to finding a literal reading of hermetic and mythological texts is very productive. refusing the metaphor, insisting on the literal. real, actual monsters. "mouths that are also anuses... that's possible isn't it" refusing to come to a halt at the word metaphor. insisting on the literal and the metaphor at once.
