The pinnacle of a certain type of obsessive music nerdiness is the track by track approach. There's a few I know of:

Compleatly Beatles was the first audio version I encountered. Produced by 2 canadian guys along the expert/punter formula, borrows heavily from Ian MacDonald's Revolution in the Head (perhaps the originator of this format) & Mark Lewishon's work

Song by Song - Just came across this. Every Tom Waits song. A little disappointed so far, and all podcast versions of these things are hamstrung by the lack of ability to play more a than a clip of the tune.

Pushing ahead of the Dame - the gold standard. There's musical and intellectual rigour behind this blog, thoughtful and reflective. O'Leary's gained a bit of a rep as a Bowie scholar based on this.

I know there must be more, there HAS to be a Dylan one - any suggestions?

Reading Chris O'Leary's second book atm. Some hilariously excoriating 80's commentary in there.
