could use criticism of the music i've been doing so far?

i want to do something intentionally different (but not entirely discontinuous) in the coming decade and also maybe get into music writing based off this experience, but could use some outside perspective on what broader themes arc across all of it, and what trends in 2010's music and things going on in the wider world situation it's symptomatic/reflective of.
so if it's not a faux-pas re:board etiquette and anyone's game to take it on, i'd like to post links to most of it.

wanna reiterate that i'm not asking for this for want of praise: i want what i've been doing to be nihilated, trashed so i have mental room for something different

It's difficult this sort of thing. I try and bully people here into engaging with what I do and occasionally, disheartened by my lack of success, I exchange bullying for wheedling but all to no avail.

i'm gonna look at that thread tho ty
if anyone wants this though here it is. im pathetic so i typed this out ahead of time in case anyone Bit

"i know this is a fuckload of music (i'm not good at anything else :L) so pick through it as slowly as you like. start with the newest stuff backwards a record at a time, or the other direction. or start with what aesthetically appeals to you (or disgusts you!).

the backlog:

https://beautysupplyrecords.bandcamp.com/album/great-satan
https://ailanthusrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/the-breath-thats-true

and the current project:
https://manifestacionesoterica.bandcamp.com/
there are also six records scheduled for the coming months but this one is the best of 'em no contest https://hostb.org/8YY
and this vocal record that's yet to be released https://hostb.org/FV5 (first time i've had vocals on a record in ~7 years!)

then this is what i'm working on rn for next year https://hostb.org/EF8
(includes a folder of imagery guiding the record) (would recommend listening in ascending order of length)
if you could take half the songs off this record which ones would they be, and (if u feel like saying) why?

then this collaboration, hyperstition *about* chillwave/hypnagogic pop that i'm part of with a couple friends. https://bigbigjadenrubyjewels.bandcamp.com
if you have music actually from the 2007-2013 period u feel fits with this kind of feeling/aesthetic u want put up here please message me to submit it and i'll run it by the others! or if u just wanna be part of the hyperstition, have things to say about that period w new music (retrodated ofc)"

pass the sick bucket
you need to roll a henry or preferably an eighth of Moroccan hash, into one spliff, smoke it, and listen to a mick harris scorn album, and then come back to the ambience like on the trance.biz album. it's too 2011 student party ketamine vibe at the moment. needs to feel like a cop is holding a gun to ur head.

Pattycakes what do you think of this music. You're a good listener although granted your taste is a bit haywire

I like the idea of everyone working out where they stand in relation to this 70000 hours of music. I'm very interested.

I struggle with it. I don't know what to do with it. I don't know what it wants with me. I don't know whay what it's trying to teach me or do to me. I'm interested in that response. It's how I feel about all internet music. That seems to me to be what's distinctive and provocative about it. There's far too much of it and that digital glut is part of the malaise it presents. It's not music at all really. Its another thing

I'll do my best to get everyone hear to chip in even if their opinion is worthless and stupid. It's my new project

I skimmed through the two youtubes.

That one with from 15 minutes on in the first one is gorgeous. Makes me all wistful for a time I wasn't even alive for.

I personally need drums and i need avant-guard stuff bought into a pop context. i need the whiskey with coke. so i'm in a similar position as luke as far as having no way to asses it properly.

if you want someone like me on board take your favourite noise/ambient ones and then add some drums and maybe some bass to make it more idiomatic. make into trap or house or dancehall or jungle or whatever's your cup of tea. then i've got a way of relating to it.

turn Magic Acid 4: SAS into a 21 savage beat.

write a songy-song to sing over give. and nowhere won. they're pretty.

murakami's stunningly gorgeous. turn it into footwork, just needs a little more oomph.
