Weirdly I posted that Remi one a couple of weeks ago, and nobody responded. It's great. She was a good North London pirate DJ and was so happy with this remix, she was plugging it all the time. Still have some cassette recordings of her doing it, but sadly no cassette player.

BST suffered from mastering, but the main reason it didnt get played out is cos it was a proper album, 4/5 tunes a side at 33.

Quixotic as his production style was, there were no huge obstacles in general with playing his stuff out. It sounded different but still worked OK on systems.

This record though... back in 95/96 when I was getting in deep it was foundational. Timeless, BST, There are strings, Grooveriders hardstep selection, Counterforce, Ruff and ready, Renegade selector, Just and example, Gun Talk, Control, Omni trio vol 2, The Deepest Cut Vol 1, Suspected. A galaxy of sound in just a few records and an onslaught from which Ive never recovered.
