Default Take me on a mystic journey in 10 choons (NO YOUTUBE)

No pootube embeds permitted. Hyperlinks are permitted and links to pootube playlists.

I want you to describe the stage on the journey each choon represents. This can be as elaborate as you like. You can make up a story, with symbolic animals.

Your interpretation of 'mystic' is up to you. You can be as cliched or non-cliched as you want, so long as you can justify it.

But FTR, here's Google's definition of a mystic:

a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect.

I wanted to do a thread about why psychedelic aesthetics are often so disgusting but maybe we can fold that in here

Give this a listen Corps. I did it for Waxidermy CD Swap a year or two ago. The idea was all vinyl, mostly cheap, most unknown to me when I bought 'em. Lots of random punts out the back of the avant section in MVE.

I think it's pretty woozy and odd so has a few elements of the mystic journey: https://www.mixcloud.com/danmatic/faintheadedness/

This idea occurred to me (from the mystic?)

It didn't seem fully formed but I felt I had to post it before it disappeared back into the numinous

Maybe 10 tracks is too much, though

    5? 4? 3? 2? 1?

    LESS THAN 1?

I have lazily and problematically equated cosmic with world, ethnic, native of course. Some of those things are deliberately cosmic, others not. It's really just ten pieces of music from my 12 hour tripping playlist. Stuff that works when in a cosmic state.
