bandz ahoy
I really want to listen and get to grips with this 100 at some point. Feels like i'm behind on two major projects now what with this and the third 100.

BUT KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU

I think 100 songs is a pretty substantial amount of music/information, it's not bite size. It's also a lot of work on the part of the compiler. So I can see why Barty, third, web, all feel put out at the lack of response to their projects, and I can also see why people haven't found the time and energy to really digest them properly. But they're not going anywhere. I think all three (and Craners, but Craner doesn't care) are there as valuable resources. But let me have another look at this and I will pull out some themes if I can.

I was surprised at the crossover with my own tastes, which means of course that yours is excellent.

Not at all. I was fully aware of how diverse your tastes are. That's why I thought you'd be a good person to roll out a hundred.

ha e you got the list written down in one place where you could copy and paste it here? I'd like to be able to run my eye down it without clicking through 50 different pages

pattycakes_

Can turn naughty
Havent read it in years but i find that i remember more of it than i thought i did

Have to apologise. Cabin fever happening over here. That came out more glib than intended. I think i wanted to say there's so many lists all at once. Soon as one is done another starts up. 300 tracks., all worthy of attention. They're preserved for the future though as luka said.

Two connections. That Garnett Silk is on 'Heptones Gonna fight' riddim, the source of the horns in this:

Poppa Large was the sample source for the vocals here. Semi respectable 2 step from Elementz Of noise (starts around 6 mins)
