    Occasionally I remember that Cats is based on a collection of poems by one of the 20th century's pre-eminent modernist poets, the same guy who wrote Prufrock, The Waste Land, and the Four Quartets, and then that fact just slips out of my mind again, as if unable to gain any purchase there.

    I don't mind fancying cartoons, I fancied cartoon rabbits as a yoot and I've still got a thing for Mrs. Incredible.

    Cartoon/human hybrids I'm not so sold on though.
