    I throw them away as soon as that happens. I often find the holes appear in the sole though, usually at the heel or ball of the foot. I can't remember the last time I had one at the toe.

    What do you mean "us"? I do clip my toenails! That's why I don't get holes in the toe of my socks!

    my dentist advised me to floss before brushing my teeth instead of after. that seemed backwards but actually makes more sense, since the brushing can then clean away any stray bits of food that the flossing dislodges. Just FYI.
