    They were the 16-18 year olds turning up doing sets on pirate radio with 1 or 2 reaching some sort of status on stations like Pressure and Ruud fm.

    Maxwell D won Kool School 2 years in a row.

    Riko and B Live (Evil B) were both well known on the pirate circuit.

    Target n Trend made 2 Degrees. Terror Danger was reasonably known on the pirate scene in East London

    No one was reallly massive. Just a part of it.

    its pretty cool to see the connection grime has not only with just dnb but with alot of the music going to and from the uk such as old school hardcore, us hip hop, house and everything else crossing the atlantic(oh and reggae too via jamaica). much respect to the old school indeed

    I remember Maxwell D on Kool quite alot.

    Didn't know Target and Trend were the same ones if you know what I mean, but 2 Degrees is one of my favourite jungle tunes of all time... so props for that.
