The one I really want to know is the one that comes on all Gary Numan sounding.


With a vocoder saying "Time to Jack", totally sounds like Numan otherwise.


Otherwise you'd need someone who knows a lot about African pop to do the track IDs.

Opilec Music Connections

While I had been following this thread, I didn't think so much about Baldelli- until yesterday.
In Brooklyn working with Scott R on a remix for this The Units Connections compilation for Opilec Music,
I start hearing the Mannekin Pis and Bitshifter remixes which sounds quite good, esp. Mannekin Pis.
Looking at the remixers - it's a long list, we see Inflagranti, Mooner , Alex Robotnik and about 30 others !

Turns put Baldelli and friends used to make vinyl of The Units cuts slowed down to their liking,
in turn by now it's become this Italian - Units conflagration.

its amazing isnt it. i only found a coulple of tapes to download when this thread first came up.

emule is an excellent source for cosmic tapes, it's really fucking slow but you can get almost all of them. this saves me the trouble of uploading them and is much better tagged as well, i hope it lasts.
