(scratches head) well i'm not entirely sure!
i got absolutely nowhere at all with commissioning it for TV- and sort of inferred from that it wasn't generally hitting the right buttons fullstop. i did notice that once the initial delight at the format had subsided that people's interest declined.
however i have recently been wondering whether persistence is the key here and whether i might be able to learn from the weaknesses of the first series. possibly aim for a new series starting december? the jury is out really.
the problem with it is that it's just the humungous amount of work- and that the dividends (in whatever form they take) might not justify the outlay. this can impact on the programming too, by the final episode, the twitch interview, i was totally knackered and perhaps not filling it with the energy it needs.
