    i dont get how scritti politti get so much crit-love for their sugary glossy ultra shiny and processed vocals but everyone hates R&B artists for doing that.

    Terms like "MOR" mean nothing now. Everything has been absorbed into the mainstream, your average noisy guitar band is as much commercial potential as your average slick, sweet sounding crooner. Let's drop this pretence of the "alternative."
