he's on h.e.n.c.h., there's a track by him on that appleblim rinse podcast, and i didn't realise until the other day when my friend pointed it out that his name's a play on common as muck, rather than him being a member of a russian dubstep sub-division. that's all i know really. it's like when i realised that skull disco was probably a take on school disco, shack being a teacher and all.

talking of bristol . . .

got my hands on the appleblim dubstep allstars mix the other day. while i had heard many of the tracks it was good to hear this type of dubstep in one mix. perfect momentum and loads of killer tunes.

also the man himself at exodus on fri shacking out with the crowd.

i wasn't ready for Clunk Click Every Trip to go so Vangelis, its soaring and beautiful, he is a really masterful producer imo, he has a touch that i don't think is matched by many in dance music at the moment

Komonazmuk is one of the best of the ex-D'n'B producers. He's been doing dubstep for a couple of years; I put his track Fear on one of the Sufferah mixes and it came out, good bit of heavy halfstep.

How fucking prolific is TRG?! He seems to have something new out every week, and its mostly really good I reckon. Picked up the split with Joker today, anyone heard the new 10" release he's put out?
