Also relatively recently a skweee producer got included in a major film soundtrack but yeah not much influence. However I am Influenced by it, it may just be a distillation of funk, but I think some of those guys were onto something with the sound they were going for

I don't have a cohesive idea of what wonky is tbh


Listening to this sort of thing you can see what skweee was trying to capture. (This is better of course but that comparison isn't helpful here)
