He's been heading that way for a while.

did you see him on Jon Ronson's prog? I suspect he doesn't really believe a word of it but sees it as the shortest cut to attention.

I love how More 4 reported this completely straight faced and really went to town with the mystical 'news graphics'.

i reckon he's done it on purpose, i think he might have some genuinely juicy bits and pieces but he's had to throw this look on as he's been threatened in some way, he's discrediting himself. I don't think he thinks he's the son of god but then
he keeps some pretty hardcore conspiracy theory friends and getting bogged down in some pretty ludicrous stuff could probably do funny things to a guy.

i always find it a bit weird, the discrepency between 'people viewing' and those who actually post more often than once in a blue moon. get involved, people! i love this board - just wanted to say that

also, i sometimes think the rolling grime thread is as vibrant as the grime scene itself

was hmlt banned because of hijacking my 'my fellow americans' thread, right? should i feel guilty? haha, oh no, that's right, he was a prick.

When he first did the press conference about all that at Glastonbury Tor there was a lot of talk online including from some people who did seem to know him that he had been smoking a lot of weed and taking mushrooms and ayahuasca. His wikipedia page mentions that now.

It does seem like an act though and I'm inclined to agree that it's been suggested to him that it would be a good idea to discredit himself publicly.

Edit: I mean David Shayler, not HMLT

ayahuasca really does seem to have become the drug of choice for those seeking visionary experience in the last few years. Yeah maybe he has gone a bit mental, maybe his i am god experiences are to do with psychedelics.
he doesn't look well in that photo on wikipedia

the board has what 5200 members now? a good chunk of the new ones have suspiciously similar names like ViagraWifeHappy or Viaga #1 Pharma or Viagra xklalsfw. there's something funny about that lot but i can't put my finger on it. they're keeping mum so far. i liked the fellow who bought his kid a monkey.

luka and craner have been busy lately.

john's right though, there's lots of good old ones to dig up.

I've bought some...stuff from an Internet vendor along these lines...may get round to trying it soon. So if a new experience report comes on Erowid from someone with a hot-drink-related username, along the lines of "Don't EVER try this!!!!" - well, you heard it here first.
