I think 80 electro groove was one of the reasons why the North was so open minded to early techno and house (pre acid) which started to creep into the clubs around 86. then 'the great divide' happened.

you can just about hear embryonic house and techno, but its from 84
ha! 50 used "set if off on the left" etc as the chorus on "outta control", which is massive in itself...

hot tracks. sos band is amazing. and i love the nu shooz as well.

the bass lines are sooooooooooo good.
