Is it worth installing X11? Anyone here use it?
It's a prerequisite for some open source Mac software but is it a pain to use in terms of slowing things down, not acting Mac-like? I'm wondering because I'm trying to find a suitable Photoshop replacement and I'm thinking GIMP unless someone has a better idea (I tried Pixelmator and loathed its workflow).
note: the computer it would go on is PPC/10.4.11
