thought it might be of interest to some people here, not completely footwork but it has a few exclusives from Sirr Tmo and others

nice one!

yeah ive been wondering that too but hopefully not. there's got to be more that hasn't been fully tapped into yet. even if its just more comps rather than producer albums. im sure the label has enough material to work with...

that is also kinda dubsteppy but it doesnt have those grating chainsaw kind of sounds which jlin likes. i guess lo fi chainsaw is better than over produced chainsaw...

agree - thats my problem with the rashad album...

but i dont know what im comparing it with really in terms of 'at the moment' - not like i have a massive range of regular footwork coming out to compare it with!

i could bang on about how great traxman is but honestly, i think he does the soul-sampling footwork the best. i think hes just more accomplished (without trying to beat you over the head with his sonic expertise, which is another problem i have with double cup), maybe cos hes been doing it longer.

100% agree. think it's cos he's a bit older ennit. he does it a lot rawer too, just like all of his tunes. could be soul, could be black sabbath, could be kraftwerk, could be a tv theme. everything gets put in the blender and comes out raw as hell the way he samples it.

in terms of other stuff coming out atm 99% of stuff still doesn't get released (jsut the bigger teklife guys really still...) but the eq why album i mentioned b4 is properly sick. v varied, and some totally manic stuff in there.

still throwing rashad's 'double cup' on on the regs - '94/95 artcore vibes all over it. Expansive and lush whilst retaining the hardness.

whats the exquisite little floaty guitar sample about 1:10 into 'Show U How'? There's tons of nice touches like that in this album generally.

I've never really managed to sustain an interest in Juke but this video still blows my mind

the music and dancing.

The Rashad album is sick but I dunno if I can quite get into this music divorced from its origins.
