the new woody allen flick is an exercise in cliches, the cliche of cliches, and meta cliches.

but there were a few saving cliches, like the hysterical spanish girl... perfect! :D

don't know what people see in s. johanson. so blah.

i am a big dan clowes fan from way back----never understood how they could make ASC into a feature length picture. Like A Velvet Glove Cast In Iron would be perfect in the hands of Jodorowsky or Lynch, or both!

not really into Terry Zwigoff I now realize. Crumb was good. Ghost World... whatever.
