Exactly as it says lol.

Anything else worth a mention? I'd love a good garage one but I don't think that's going to happen. (Please someone prove me wrong).

Felt a bit sick to see my site referred to as "noughties 'nuum" by Mr Reynolds, incidentally, I don't like the term or ideal at all, but what can you do.

Yeah, I have those- they initially came from someone on the Uptown forum. Some great sets, the Upfront FM ones especially.

Not a mix from my days on Ice FM / Mac FM - but something I uploaded recently because I noticed the popular garage mixes on YouTube were all mixed like Ministry compilations:

Great to find this thread.

There was something really special about how pirate DJs mixed garage that seems to be getting lost, despite the growing nostalgia for all things UKG. EZ keeps getting more popular, but that style of mixing now feels largely confined to him.

There is one very simple answer to this problem...DJ Q!

His live sets (theres tons kicking about on soundcloud, youtube etc) are actually very EZ-esque but imo he surpassed him years ago. His kiss fm show is essential listening too

I remember being weirded out when garage 12s started coming on YouTube cos I'd never really appreciated how much those records were pitched up on pirate and in the club. Sounded so enervated at 'correct' speed
