    Bloviate is a good one because it sounds like what it means - is there a name for that? Which reminds me, that's something like onomatopoeia which is a good one too.
    I also think that tinker was a good selection. I like it in both the sense of messing around with something and as a type of person.

    Yeah, that's a good one, also zigzag, flip-flop and hip-hop if they are admissible.
    All those words for sizes of champagne bottles though I guess they're names so possibly they don't count either.
