I'm really enjoying the Matt O'Brien set, Marc. I don't know the tunes but from the sounds of it he's working a lot with loops and triggering/mixing them live. Is that the case? That's definitely Ableton's strongest suit - less finnicky than mixing entire completed tracks and insanely versatile. As much as I liked using Acid to compose, I'm still regularly tickled by the ease with which you can improvise in Live, especially if you have one or two MIDI control surfaces on hand.

I noticed once that the ID3 tag of one of your Old Skool Rewinds said 'made in Acid.' Do you mix them in there or do you mix on your decks and just use Acid as a recorder?

minikomi's server seems to be on a coffee break, so I'm going to come back to that one in a bit.
