Kinda great in many ways, but I wouldn't say it's essential, particularly for electronic music.

If you're happy with Logic 8, I'd recommend sticking with it until 9 gets at least one bugfix / update.

$199 / £159 blanket upgrade price for Users of Logic 7 or 8.

Saw a demo of this yesterday. The Flexitime thing looks cool. And it's amazing to think you can (pretty much) quantize audio.. Interesting also that they're gearing it towards live performance.. Still seems like alot for the upgrade.
