Legitimately hoped someone had the audacity to title their song "LONDON VIOLENCE"

one of the best interviews i see from one of the younger ppl, articulate, insightful, realistic, the whole vibe of this vid makes me feel very positive indeed

Been happening for a while, but this one is so bad and so clear, it's the dissolution of the bass drum.

two good articles written by ciaran thapar

    http://www.factmag.com/2017/04/27/uk...icago-brixton/

    http://crackmagazine.net/article/mus...-south-london/

the link to gentrification is an interesting juxtaposition, but maybe doesn't go much beyond that in the article. dan hancox is writing a thing on gentrification and grime at the moment.

maybe it's been said before in here but the violence of road rap is the maddest thing for me, much as i like the tracks. feels like things are surely a lot tougher for young people in these places than they were in the grime days, if this is the music they're making... but then you do have afrobeats as the other happier side to that somehow coexisting

Cheers for that, looks like these will be a good read.
