Drake is gonna rap in french like that Mach Hommy album people were talking about weeks ago and fans will understand not one word but journalists will pen thinkpieces about how Drakk's secretly quebecois or something and we'll have yet another spiral of content.

I like this, seems a bit sad in the rich heritage of English music ala The Smiths

I deleted it because my post started a new page and I thought people wouldn't see the post Corpse had just made.

You'd probably need a linguist or something to talk about how these drillers accents are *causing* alterations of flow (as well as the history of grime/garage etc.)

Like I'm sure there are syllables that are much blunter in South Londonese than they would be in Atlantan or whever

fucking hell! relax. we can all figure it out. don't do that in future, the stuff you delete is often the most conversation-catalysing stuff.

Just think of how

"ops"

Sounds as LDN slang compared to Chicago

Maybe not a huge difference (the pronunciation of "ooh" too - huge makes me think of)

Very difficult to analyse and talk about unless you're a specialist maybe but it's an uncommented on thing, everybody's playing a different instrument

Legal reasons. Zone 2 were often suspected in a bunch of murders (including that of the kids from Moscow 17)

The first Zone 2 tape is like, a hard listen because they weren't as wary of disguising their lyrics so it's literally describing attempts to murder other people by name and location and it's like "Yeah, guys, let's not put these things out there so blatantly"

Was listening to the TRENCH road rap playlist on my commute home last night, a bit lean and a glass of white wine in so

These are all old and probably obvious so no captain comelately snarks please, I'm aware
