Joyce was scared of dogs.

Just yesterday I took a selfie cos i got a haircut and I realised that though I think of myself as a cat I'm definitely a dog. One of those stocky semi flat faced terriers you might see gently dying in a pub.

Something ancient and human about a dog's eyes. Like looking into the face of a caveman. Don't like it, unnerving. Prefer the glassy alien stare of a cat.

I like this dog, if I had millions of pounds I'd spend my days cycling down forest trails with a dog and then all back to mine for lashings of ginger beer cocaine and sex workers

The one time I've been tripping on the Heath (Parliament hill) it was late at night and a mist blanketed everything. You could see almost nothing but mist and these white hounds, like wolves, white wolves, emerged out of the mists. About 7 of them.

Depends on your level of commitment. Dogs require much more time and attention, have to take them out a few times a day. you can ignore a cat for a day or two, most of them don't give a shit cuz they're aloof and off doing their own thing. we go away for a weekend and just leave a large bowl of food and water, no problem.
