I don't know. I consider all Italian films made after 1990 to basically be French films, so it's probably not my thing.

I watched Bones and All last night and realized he directed that, call me by your name and suspiria. I really liked Bones and All though Im not sure many here would. It felt like a teenage movie for adults. all mood, all vibe.

I Am Love. The Suspiria remake was ok I thought. Call me by your name annoyed me.

Haven't seen many Italian flims that were made after 1990.

I like Sorrentino even though he's probably only done one great thing.

Went to see Eight Mountains in the weekend and was dissappointed. Wholesome emotional sincerety is not a good register the Italians.
