I think this was the straw that broke @Leo's back
come back all is forgiven, i'll certainly unfuck it if that would bring @Leo back but i think it's too late

the easy workaround is to look up your article on twitter where they create shortlinks which work fine here (though they don't display the headline and image etc)

i wouldn't worry about it sufi. he started the killings in the late 90s, i don't think the links to the guardian had anything to do with it.

just in case anyone was wondering they've moved him up to sing sing prison upstate, visiting hours depend on the day
