Dreams and dream theory

person had a raft of capital T traumas but it was their dream which confounded reality, as they said “in an aspect of reality”, so your role is to try to talk through consciousness studies and being with a well-read individual and, inadvertently, you get scragged by it too

of a few thousand people seen only one was ever haunted by an actual dream, most were nodding every chance to dream
Genuinely, you should refer them to Eric Wargo's book. They'd realise their experience is not that anomalous - Wargo says precognitive dreaming is the most widely documented psi effect.

Obvs only if that's appropriate in the relationship you have.

Ta Dan. Only see the individual occasionally in town but you’ve drawn a purchase out of me regardless

Appropriate is a key term. If in private practice, maybe options open but you know all the taboos surrounding operating outside x protocols. A lot of addicts nod out next mates, only to wake next to a corpse compounding dream nightmares. And there’s something to the junk image and word described by Burroughs - when you’re fifty fathoms deep a definite composite of image and word is confronted like enveloping behemoth walls, as if you can’t quite punch through to enter rem sleep because your blood toxicology won’t allow it
