2030 - Short film insanity commences
2300 (approx) - films finish and Craig Chalice continues with the music until you get fed up and go home
The final event of 2023 and although we are not beholden to arbitrary dates marking meaningless festivals it is likely to be a special one all the same. As plugged-in Lisbonites surely know by now Idle Rich’s film night is a monthly excursion into the truly unusual manifested in the form of short film.
On entry our explorers of the outer limits will be greeted by music from Craig Chalice (Haydn Douet Lukies) - as a drummer Haydn's journey has taken him from death metal to the obvious next steps of industrial dub and traditional Iraqi percussion but today he ventures out from behind his drums to stand behind some turntables instead and create a suitably psychedelic atmosphere for the films that follow...
Once this month’s collection of brave psychedelic souls have been softened up by that onslaught, the short films will begin and you must be prepared for them to forcibly prise open your third eye so that the beautiful insanity on the screen can be beamed directly into your mind.
