Now I know that the 'events' section on here throws up a fair few pointers about club nights etc, but I often find (in London, but same applies to anywhere else, i'd imagine) that I only find about what's going on too late, cos a lot of things are really poorly advertised (it seems to me).
Particularly holds true on anything to do with funky, dubstep and grime that isn't Fwd>> or DMZ. It's really irritating that flyposting isn't encouraged in the same way it is in Berlin, for example.
So, any pointers about where to go, if say, I wanted to know when Guido is next playing in London? Lastfm is very good for band listings (found out the Handsome Family were playing at the end of my road from there; on the other hand, the advertising that the Congos were playing at another pub at the end of my road didnt' seem to reach anywhere beyond 50m outside the pub itself), but not so good for anything else.
