tim sweeney played this last night --

definitely one of my all-time favs

does anyone else here rate this record as highly as i do?

tim also played what sounded like a much slower version of fpi project's "going back to my roots," with a small segment of the piano line looped -- wondering whether it was a new remix??? or perhaps some obscure version of the 89 classic

party record with a siren

ummmmm, not sure

i think the piano line was more pronounced in what i heard last night -- and i'm pretty sure it was a woman's voice -- but again, perhaps that's why i thought the vocal was slowed down last night, i.e., b/c a man's voice and i simply did not cotton on to that fact

problem w/ sound clips (as juno provides) is that you only get to hear a certain section of the song

but yeah this is a song that i never get sick of -- no matter what the version

i'm fairly certain i heard a version of fpi project

richie havens is the disco original, correct?
