Help me ID a track, please (new working link)

So, this is what I know -

• It's "The Way", by Taktix
• It's not the version which came out on Fokus (Istanbul Remix / The Way)
• It's not the first V.I.P. mix which came out on Back 2 Basics

So that means it could be:

• The remix by Top Buzz (The Way (Remix) / Deadly Pursuit)
or
• The V.I.P. "final chapter" remix (The V.I.P. (The Final Chapter) / T Plays It Cool)

or is it none of the above?

Doesnt sound like Top buzz to me...

its obviously not this:

DJ Taktix - The Way (2K JB Remix) (Back 2 Basics - B2B12065)

though it could be this:

DJ Taktix - The Way (Exclusive Mix) (Back 2 Basics - B2BLP01)

or maybe this?

DJ Taktix - The Way (Shadow VIP Mix) (F.F.R.R. - 828609-1)

i reckon thats the second VIP mix your'e referring to.

Found out now - it's actually a DJ SS remix of Rhythm for Reasons.

Uses the same vocal sample as the Taktix track and was around at the same time, hence my confusion.

Thanks for looking, though!

Ah... think I have that as well :eek:

Theres about 20 tunes that use that vocal. D'Cruze's 'Lonely' being the other standout.
