Radio Magnetic: DJ Bone/Trocabrahma/Mad Decent/Entropy

Trocabrahma: Gilles Peterson hangs out with young jazz singer and Bristol-based beats producer Ben Westbeech as he jams with Brasilian soul jazz singer Tita Lima. Ben and Tita hit it off together musically and we hear snippets from the rehearsal process plus exclusive live recordings. While in Sao Paulo, Ben spent a wad of cash at infamous record shop Eric's Disco. Gilles finds out how important and influential Eric was in turning Far Out Records boss Joe Davis on to Brasilian music, which in turn inspired Gilles and helped to create a whole cross cultural scene in the UK. We also cross borders with new Far Out act Zeep (aka Nina Miranda and Chris Franck from Da Lata and Smoke City).

Mad Decent: The first part in Radio Magnetics latest addition, Diplo's Mad Decent Radio. Episode 1 is all about B-more and all that booty shaking bass thats coming out of Baltimore in the US.

Entropy: Our intrepid jazz presenter Andy Watt ventured over to Edinburgh for this years Jazz Festival to interview one of the leading figures in jazz today, drummer Jeff "Tain" Watts, to discuss amongst other things his new release Folks Songs and the setting up of his own label Dark Key Music.

DJ Bone: DJ Bone recorded live at Edinburghs Inner Rhythm which plays host in the capital to some of the best techno DJs around.
