Need some help from Dissensians. I'm trying to pull together a list of tracks from the 'nuum that lyrically reference London or parts of London ( i.e. Wiley's "Bow E3"). Ideally they'll be jungle, UKG, grime or dubstep...

can anyone help?

And Tek 9 also did a track called A London Sumtin. Weren't they 4 Hero? Cos Dego apparently remixed that Code 071 track, too, according to discogs.

neckle camp - london ting
scorcher - reppin london (this is a *horrible* track though, just the worst chorus imaginable)
essentials - state your name
southside allstars - southside run tings
young dot - dirty south salute
tinie tempah - south east of the thames
newham gens - theme/newham general/whatever it's called
newham gens - gate e7 (if that's what it's called)

i mean there are just HUNDREDS of grime tracks with refs to parts of london in. those are just off the top of my head..

what about roadside g's 'can't come to da roadside'? i can't remember, and i seem to have lost the mp3... if anyone can up it for me i'd appreciate it.

Slothrop

Tight but Polite
South London Boroughs.

But you already knew that. :D

Edit: just noticed the lyrical requirement.

How about Drum Trip by Kaotic Chemistry - "north london posse in the place..."

Footsie references 'Forest Gate E7' in Jammer's version of 'Hustlin'. I'm just gonna keep updating this thread until you tell me to stop Martin ;)

Best UK hiphop track ever : Reveal : What Estate R U From?

'It's bad karma, what goes around comes around
In London town babylon try to hunt us down
But we don't need them policemen who pull their truncheons out
Arrest us and tell us they're gonna gun us down
They can't touch my crown, I'm the king of the underground
And as soon as lightning strikes you're bound to hear the thunder sound, it's like BLAOOO'
