to my ears the above mix sounds a helluva lot more like 2-step garage than jungle ever did, i.e., jungle techniques may have added more friskiness and sub-bass, and post-timberland r'n'b a bit more flex and snap, but seriously this is where it has to come from . . . .
also, is there anyway that the mixes on first page of this thread could be re-posted???
