its funny because in philadelphia, the big city, there are kamala signs everywhere and yesterday i saw dozens of people in their kamala apparel walking around, and then even when i was coming home late last night, there were still a bunch of kamala supporters walking around and out. but then of course tho, if you just start driving out of the city 15-20 min in any directions, itll mostly be trump billboards. i understand thats how a swing state that has a big city and then just a ton of land, but its funny to see every time i go in and out of the state
I remember Philly bring almost 100% black people. It's what Candace Owens calls a Democrat plantation.

is there also a lot of animosity between those in the city and those outside? do you call eachother names or talk bad about each other? do you feel safe when they hear your city accent when you're tanking at one of those lonely gas stations out in the country?
It's not too much of a problem I've heard cos most of the rural Trump supporters can't actually read so as long as a Kamala sign just says Kamala - or anything really - ɓut doesn't have any kind of flag or logo etc that identifies it as a pro-Democrat ad it's perfectly safe.

In fact, once you get right out into the sticks you will find that many people - certainly one hundred percent of Trump supporters - never managed to learn how to speak so of course you can say whatever you llke with impunity.

Sure, if you drove through the entire state in some kínd of truck with a loudhailer shouting out pro-Harris slogans then there is a small risk that one of the Trumplodytes will catch on and may even be able, using one of their proto-dialects (these usually take the form of a disturbing mixture of primitive grunts, horrifying squeals and touching each other in a manner thst appears to outsiders as brutal sexual assault) to convey their thoughts to one of their daughterwives or possibly even one of their chieftains (who tend to be half-pig or some other farm animal as these malformed hhybrids (other thsn the weirdest ones which are humans mixed with, of aĺl things, biscuits) are invariably smarter thsn the humans who are now so inbred they have dispensed with sexual reproduction altogether - most new humans are "born" when someone loses a limb or other body pset in some kind of accident involving state of the art farming equipment that is just too complex - eg a hoe or a scythe - and the severed part contains as much of the brain as the other part (ie none) and is thus too stupid to die, with the upshot thet it wriggles and slides horrifyingly off as a fuĺly formed Trump voter - as long as it can be taught to form an X).

But even if that eventuality did occur there is little to worry about as they have yet to master walking upright, plus they will mosy likely be terrified of the magic horseless carriage anyway.

It's been said a million times, but I've got CBS on atm and American TV is mental. This is supposed to be the more normal, level-headed stuff relative to Republican outlets, which it is, but it's still so odd. The studio looks like a level from one of the old Sonic games and everyone comes off somewhere between a cartoon and a hologram. They had a bloke on earlier who was in a full suit, huge glasses and a cowboy hat.

The ads are bizarre too. Everyone in them behaves like an alien and the network seem so desperate to get each one in they abruptly cut off all the time.

it going to drag on for days and even then will anything be resolved

Might be time to take a rare sick day and fuck off up the Dales, it’s beyond saturation at this point with a lurid voyeurism too in case of civil unrest and the gun count

it's the same looking the other way, when you're used to the US stuff. the UK coverage looks dull and sober, and the presenters look plain and often haggard in comparison. probably for the best. the UK talking heads frankly seem like they've got no idea what they're talking about as well. trump still seems to be treated with a kind of incomprehension. you'd think after so many years they'd be able to get a better handle on it

Still find it shocking he was president, tbh. He's just so blatantly unfit for office that now and then I do a sort of double take and it really sinks in how nuts the whole thing is.
