however here is some (allegedly) 1991 Belgian gabba for you

The jury is still out on this one though. Regardless, it's a tune. before the punks ruined it with stupid guitars and frat bro nonsense.

Havent had a deep dive itt yet

Starter for ten. Absolute roller of a choon, click snare, mad chords, just forget about the vocal

Massive choon in the north

How to unite north and south in Butts Quarry, one starry night? Cookie Watkins, courtesy of DK, has to be this mix as alts don’t punch as hard and are too loose. Hard to articulate how much of a grounding levelling influence tracks like this were in amongst the mania, especially if it wasn’t a sausage party

the south has always had more respectable taste, admit it.

Excluding nottingham and birmingham from having to do with anything from the North though.

I need to look for that proper gorgonzola track stu allen played on one of his old skool nation shows to placate the bunter tbh. proper fingers down the throat piano overload.

Some very weird stuff crept on to even mainstream radio by 1991, rave generator being a prime example. How the fuck did that end up there?
Dunno if it made the charts but this one made a big impression at the time on me

Born in the north @thirdform - nothing if not loyal

Dove tracks have elements you could bypass without the very specific set of ears they facilitated or instances they helped pick out @william_kent , Japan and Italy primary source material here but not many could trump Mike Perras. Such a deftness of touch, doesn’t need drugs, just a few minutes of attentive listening

Doubt I'll have heard it, I was ten years old and had no idea where any of this stuff was coming from.

Never been that keen on piano overload tbh, some of my mates were though as I got older.
