I like the random 'Whale' noise for that first tune. The 2nd is nice enough... 4th tune is fucking EVIL. It's what I've always wanted Jakes to actually sound like.

I dunno. He was sounding a lot more interested in Funky than anything else in the big interview.

did anyone on here reach DMZ at Corsica? would be really curious to know how it went. Lineup was as good as I could have hoped for really so I'm pretty annoyed I couldn't make it.

I think a change of venue might be a good thing for DMZ as the vibe at mass has been pretty off the last few times I've been.

yeah i'm really screwing i couldn't make it..

line up was ridiculous. and Mala playing a 2003-06 set sounds stupidly good.

have to disagree about the vibe being off at last few DMZs tho.. not that a change of scenery won't be a good thing. Corsica is a wicked venue still.

in fairness I aint been since the 4th birthday, but I kept getting hassled - and some bloke was trying to nick my wallet and things which has really put me off

those ghost clips are shocking, tearout wobble, from el-b ugh so sad... at least mj cole's music has[ via ppl like nero has] been turned into wobble by someone other than himself.

i had a wicked time at dmz. mala's set was off the hook and sarge pokes was on form "if this record was playing at the finish line i would beat usain bolt there to pull it up" lol

about the venue: corsica is the only other place i could imagine it being tbh - got 2 big soundsytems and a gritty, white wash walls/ no frills kinda vibe. plus if you get bored you can always pop into the latino joint next door for some tequila haha.

and ghost sampling godzilla theme? sounds a bit cheesy since monche did it, and it sounded pretty cheesey then.

plastician: want to go cuz it's the plasticman and all that, but does he even drop any grime anymore? whould i be expecting wobblerz n bangerz all night (and considering that dubstep LA mix just got out he'll be playing that stuff id assume) is he still a good broad range of stuff or is it all straight for the floor silly stuff?

Benga: going to this. but not with super high expectations...should be fun though i would imagine.
