Yeah I know, hence the bit about him not being the saviour. He bailed out all those failing banks and hedge funds without forcing any real change that would prevent another future crisis, too. But to look at it another way: is it conceivable that someone who would've behaved significantly differently could ever become POTUS in the first place? (I suppose the answer is that we may be about to find out.)
