hurricane-turned tropical storm Isaias heading our way, could be back to hurricane strength by the time it reaches here tomorrow afternoon. at least 2-4 inches of rain and heavy winds expected. state sanctioned hysterical panic buying of bottled water, batteries and TP officially commenced.

you guys don't have too many dramatic natural disasters in the UK, do you? I guess flooding in some parts, but never really hear about tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, blizzards, violent thunder and lightning storms. maybe it balances out: we get our shit weather in a handful of intense bursts, you get yours doled out in smaller doses with showers 300 days a year.

false alarm, storm drifted west and we got all of 20 minutes of heavy rain. wind gusts up to 60 mph brought down some trees but not bad.

check put the last photo on this local blog...modern buildings are made so cheaply, holy shit.

i dont like it when the clouds are like this and the heat is trapped. i want a good hygenic hot day with a blue sky pulsing and vibrating with brilliant heat. the vibe is all moody and sullen when there;s too much cloud cover on a hot day. i demand you remove these clouds.

Thunderstorms apparently. Hopefully it stays sunny for my birthday. Version is driving down from the north to drink a lager with me.

Beast of Burden
I'm up in my top back bedroom looking back towards Cardiff and Caerphilly Mountain. There are some insane storms heading towards Barry.

Such drama, foreboding. The air is crackling.
