This guy who puts the dummy in the car... he moves it around and changes the clothes. Yesterday it was in the driving seat, today no mask and a different hat.
do you think he shags it? if he does, in the car or takes it home you reckon?

i became obsessed with construction sites of new buildings and specifically the digits the workers or planners spray on walls, floors and pillars. i guess it's to note down something really important, heights or lengths or pressure. no idea really. but every time i spot them i fantasize about climbing down and adding some extra digits or changing some of them just to see what kind of freak building would arise as a consequence. in one of my fantasies it would be a temple devoted to me.

I used to see them all over Manchester, there were a bunch where I worked. Often in combo with the cranes so there was a look up/down thing going on.

I like the dashed off nature and bright colours, raw functionalism.

Such a beautiful day, I'm in an incredibly good mood. Took a daytime pic of the dummy and the guy came out again and asked if I wanted to get in there with it - I ran away again.
Then I did a (really really small) random act of kindness by sticking a cigarette on the door handle of our neighbour who begs for cigarettes, he's been going really crazy lately, lying in wait for us when we come up the stairs, checking out the window so he can run down and catch us on the street... but I never had any so felt kinda bad.

the guy with the dummy in his car is on another message board right now saying "I have this weird dude in my neighborhood, walks up to my car and takes a photo every day. when I try to talk to him, he just runs away."

i missed the story about the dummy? what's that about?
Just some guy who has this weird dummy sat on the seat of his car. About two weeks ago went for a walk at night just to get some fresh air during the lockdown by wandering around while no-one was about and I was momentarily taken aback to see this poker-faced guy in glasses and a hat sitting there in the passenger seat of a parked car. But the girlfriend point out that a) it was in a dummy and that b) it's been there for ages and she just assumed that I was well aware of it when, in fact, I'd never noticed it before. Since then I always look for it and I've realised that sometimes it's in the driving seat, sometimes the one next to it, sometimes it has sunglasses, sometimes a mask, he varies the hats on its head and so on. I often go to take picture but lately the owner has taken to coming running out of the bar/takeaway place he owns and catching me in the act, causing me to shuffle off looking embarrassed. I think today he might have thought that my interest denoted me as a fellow dummy aficianado and he said I could open the door and get in and - this last bit was muffled - but I think he said "puxar um trem para ele" whatever that might mean.
But yeah I dunno why it's there, we don't have those lanes where you need a passenger to drive in them, and I can't believe that it's to prevent theft as that hasn't come to this part of Portugal yet. Really the only possible conclusion that we're left with is, that it is, in fact, a kidnap victim who has been given a drug that paralyzed him so that he can be cruelly hidden in plain sight, with his face muscles desperately fighting to muster a cry for help through the whole day, before his master drags him into the back of the van and forces him to do unspeakable acts that someone as innocent as me could not even begin to imagine.
